Pasta master: Alessandro Savelli was rejected by TV's Dragons' Den
Upmarket pasta maker Pasta Evangelists plans to open a raft of new locations across the UK and beyond in 2024.
The group sells recipe kits and fresh pasta takeaways. The company also runs a pasta academy in London, where it offers cooking classes.
The company plans to open more than a dozen new stores in 2024, including at least one in Paris – its first step abroad.
The company was founded in 2016 by former investment banker Alessandro Savelli, who was rejected by TV's Dragons' Den.
Savelli sold a majority stake in the company to the world's largest pasta maker, Barilla, in 2021.
Pasta Evangelists is the largest pasta company in Britain with an annual turnover of around £35 million. 350 employees work there.
