Girls Aloud fans were treated to a surprise reunion on Friday night as Cheryl and Kimberley Walsh celebrated Nicola Roberts’ 38th birthday at a star-studded bash.
Kimberly took to Instagram Stories to share a sizzling snap with her longtime pal as they enjoyed a night out in Nicole’s honor.
She captioned the post: ‘Famous Miss @lilcola with my girlfriend @cherilofficial last night.’
Videos from the evening also showed Nicola blowing out the candles on her birthday cake, with host Laura Whitmore cheering.
Girls Aloud previously split in 2013, but following the death of their bandmate Sarah Harding in 2021, the group reunited to perform at a charity ball in October, sparking talk of a potential comeback.

Cheryl recently hinted at a return to pop, launching a new company with former Girls Aloud bandmates Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Adams and Nadine Coyle.
Let’s Go Eskimo – named after a line in the Girls Aloud hit Love Machine – was launched in September to cover any financial gain made by the band, which broke up in 2013.
The move fueled speculation of a potential comeback for the girls, who reunited last October to perform at a benefit ball for former bandmate Sarah Harding.
Harding died aged 39 in 2021 after a battle with breast cancer, and the band later organized The Primrose Ball to raise money for the Christie NHS Foundation Trust and Cancer Research UK, as part of the Sarah Harding Breast Cancer Appeal.
Speaking about Harding’s tragic death at an event on October 8, 2022, Cheryl said: “To be honest, I never experienced or expected this grief.
“You know, I lost my grandparents and a friend when I was younger, but nothing like this. The feeling of shock and disbelief still lingers.
“You feel so helpless, you’ve never felt such hopelessness, it’s horrible.” So the fact that Sarah had one request that we can fulfill is great for us because it feels like we’re doing something.’
She added: “We felt like there was nothing we could do for so long.”
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline in January, Cheryl revealed the loss has ensured she doesn’t take her days for granted and has brought her “closer” to Nicola Roberts, Nadine Coile and Kimberley Walsh.
She explained: “A lot of the conversations we had before she left really sparked a different perspective for me, and I’ll carry that.
“She wasn’t ready to leave and I’m like, ‘well I’m still here.’ I have the gift of life to still live, and I will do it with her in mind. It changes many things in your heart.’
Detailing how Sarah’s death has brought her closer to her bandmates, she continued: “With the loss and our age, we just appreciate and love each other so much more.
“Obviously, we’ve always loved each other.” But it’s just different, there’s a different depth to it all now.’
The girls made another public appearance in September when they attended the wedding of celebrity publicist Simon Jones in London.
