Cheryl reunited with her Girls Aloud bandmates Kimberley Walsh, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts as they attended PR pal Simon Jones’ star-studded wedding.

Simon is one of Britain’s leading publicists, working with celebrities including Ant and Dec, N-Dubz, Cheryl Tweedy, Little Mix and Raye.

The PR star married his partner Rich at The Royal Horseguards Hotel and One Whitehall Place on Saturday.

Girls Aloud disbanded in 2013 and consisted of the four girls and Sarah Harding, who sadly lost her battle with breast cancer in 2021.

But they reunited for the special occasion and posed for a group photo next to Arthur Gourounlian.

Kimberley recently said that Girls Aloud are ‘not ready to get back on stage yet’ following Sarah’s death.

The West End star revealed that she and the girls have no plans to perform together anytime soon following the death of their beloved bandmate Sarah.

In October 2021, the Love Machine ruled out a reunion for girl band Biology as they were now not in ‘that headspace’ following Sarah’s death.

She said: “It’s not really something we’re thinking about clearly, given the situation as it is. There’s not even anyone in that main room right now.”

In February, Kimberley told MailOnline that there were no plans for a reunion in the near future.

She said: ‘It’s amazing that we are 20 years old and there will be a lot of personal memories for us as a group. I’m sure the four of us will look back on old memories.

“But I don’t think our heads are in the space to do anything as a band, it wouldn’t feel right without Sarah. But yeah, we’ll definitely make a lot of memories, it’s amazing that it’s been so long. 20 years, it’s crazy!’

Kimberley added that the occasion will be significantly poignant for the remaining members, adding: “It feels like a pretty big milestone for us, it will be very bittersweet. But we just deal with it as best we can at that moment.’

Nadine revealed last year that she thought she had been receiving signals from her late Girls Aloud bandmate Sarah, including when she was at home and ‘something flew off the shelf’.

The singer described the difficult time she went through when Sarah passed away in September 2021.

Speaking on the Ryan Tubridy Show on RTE Radio 1 in October, Nadine told how she filmed Irish musical talent show Last Singer Standing, where she believes Sarah sent her signs of her presence.

She said: ‘I was so close to her in life. There’s definitely been stuff, she’s made her presence known a few times. While I was filming the show, I was in the middle of it and the people were so nice.

“There were a few days where the headphones just flew across the table and it happened three days in a row and the makeup girls were like, ‘that must be Sarah.’

“One night I was walking around my house and something flew off the shelf. I thought, ‘Is this Sarah?’ I still think she’s going to call.’

Sarah passed away on September 5, 2021, with her death confirmed by her mother Maria in a statement shared on the star’s Instagram account, saying he “slipped away peacefully” after her battle with cancer.
