A couple with a 37-year age difference has sent the internet into meltdown by claiming they are expecting their first child together via a surrogate.
In a bizarre stunt, grandmother of 18 Cheryl McCain, 63, and her 26-year-old husband Quran from Georgia have announced they will soon welcome a baby into the world.
They shared a photo of what they said was a positive pregnancy test, which looked more like a Covid test, as well as an apparent scan photo.
The controversial duo first announced their surrogacy in 2022, but called it quits the following May after their surrogate mother breached her contract by having unprotected sex with her partner.
But after three surrogates were unsuccessful, the couple are now claiming online that they have finally struck gold with the fourth, sending social media into a frenzy.

Describing their scan in which they claim a doctor confirmed the pregnancy, Cheryl said: ‘It was an amazing feeling to find out we were having a baby.
‘We can start our own family. I am happiest now than ever before.
“It will make our family so much happier because we will love the baby unconditionally.”
The Qur’an added: ‘I wept for joy when I found out. This will be my very first child.
“I’ve never felt love like this, apart from when I married Cheryl.”
“Baby girl or baby boy, it doesn’t matter. I’m having a baby and we’re starting our life together,” he joked.
“Even though Cheryl won’t be the birth mother, blood doesn’t make you family and she will be the best mother.”
After dropping the bombshell, the couple – who were decades apart in age – revealed the process was filled with “emotional stress” and had an impact on their love life.
“I had to save my sperm for the surrogate and we started missing each other’s needs,” the Quran said.
‘We have now started working on that. As soon as we stopped the surrogacy, we became romantically linked again.”

Although the couple is reportedly over the moon to welcome the baby, many online were seemingly unconvinced by their announcement.
“I want to know how this is possible, and how does this happen logistically,” someone wondered.
“Is this real?” exclaimed a second, while another joked: “My jaw dropped….”
“I don’t know what to say other than I hope everything works out,” one user added.
Others were quick to congratulate the couple on their latest announcement, with one token writing: “Oh my God, people only get older.
“As long as they love each other, leave them alone.”
‘AWW how cute!! I hope you have a cute and healthy baby,” one fan shared.
Another cheered: ‘I’m honestly so excited for you all! I’ve been waiting with you! Congratulations!!!’
Although Cheryl will not be the biological mother of their reported child, she said: ‘Blood doesn’t make you family’
Cheryl first met Quran when he was just 15 years old, while they both worked at the fast food chain Dairy Queen
People were left divided in the comments section of their announcement video, with many unsure whether to believe if the video was real
Cheryl first met Quran when he was just 15 years old, while they both worked at the fast food chain Dairy Queen.
They insist there were no romantic feelings at the time, but they later hit it off when they met again at a gas station in November 2020 when Koran was 23.
Quran lifted a crying Cheryl, and the two began meeting biweekly to record content together.
The 26-year-old eventually confessed to Cheryl that he had feelings for her and they began an intimate relationship in April 2021.
For the controversial couple, their staggering age difference wasn’t a problem, but Cheryl’s kids were less than impressed.
‘I have seven children, but I only see one because the others don’t support our relationship. It hurts me, it hurts me a lot,” she said.
‘They were my whole life and suddenly I wanted to marry someone I had fallen in love with, and they wouldn’t support that.
“I have eighteen grandchildren and I only see three of them.”
Quran proposed to Cheryl on July 31, 2021, and the couple got married in September in a small ceremony surrounded by two friends.

The pair insist they were not romantically interested in each other when Quran was 15, and claim their romantic relationship began when they met again when Quran was 23.
Cheryl said: ‘We didn’t invite anyone to the wedding because there was no one there for us.
‘It was me, him and our two friends. We locked everyone out and we were happy.”
“It made the day very special for us,” Quran added.
‘We receive a lot of negative reactions and we don’t care about that. We didn’t get this far by worrying about what people think about us.
‘To keep ourselves happy, we stay off the internet. We don’t need that negativity.’
