Cher’s recovering addict son Elijah Blue Allman seen drinking and smoking with mystery woman at Chateau Marmont amid ongoing feud with pop star
Cher’s troubled son Elijah Blue Allman has been spotted at the Chateau Marmont hotel with a woman who is not his wife, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.
Allman, 48, is embroiled in a lawsuit with his famous mother over her intention to appoint him as conservator instead of his 36-year-old British rock star wife Marieangela “Queeny” King.
Now, DailyMail.com has obtained exclusive photos showing Allman sipping cocktails with a mystery blonde woman at the LA hotspot where he lived last summer before his last stint in rehab.
He was dressed in a strange kind of robe.
Sources told DailyMail.com the recovering drug addict stayed at the hotel with a male friend in early August, paying $742 a night.
An eyewitness said: ‘Elijah is back and looking a lot better than he did last year around the same time when he passed out on the pavement outside the hotel. He checked in with a male friend and they were given separate rooms.
Elijah Blue Allman, 48, Cher’s son, was spotted drinking what appeared to be cocktails with an unknown blonde woman at LA hotspot Chateau Marmont while dressed in a bizarre robe-style outfit.
Sources told DailyMail.com that the recovering drug addict checked into the $742-a-night hotel on August 1, along with a male friend
“He was pretty subdued, except he looked like Sunset Jesus as he walked around the hotel in different colored robes.”
Sunset Jesus – real name Kevin Lee Light – was a local eccentric who rose to fame by wandering LA’s famous Sunset Boulevard dressed as Jesus until his death from pneumonia in 2018.
The source added: ‘Elijah spent most of his time by the pool, chain smoking with his friend. Every night in the early evening, his friend would drive him somewhere for a few hours.
‘And then all of a sudden, a blonde woman who looked to be in her early thirties started coming to Elijah’s house every night at 7:00 p.m. She stayed until about 10:30 p.m.’
An insider close to King said she recently moved into a new apartment, but added that the status of her marriage is unclear as the couple still spends time together.
Allman and King have been married for over 11 years, but their relationship has long been stormy. In 2021, the singer even filed for divorce.
In January, the couple filed a petition to have the application dismissed. However, the judge denied their request on a formality, as Cher had continued to try to be appointed conservator for her son.
In that long-running saga, Cher, who will release her long-awaited memoir on Nov. 19, is accused by King of “kidnapping” Allman from a New York hotel room in November 2022 as the couple tried to repair their marriage, and of later forcing her son to check into a strict Mexican rehab facility.

Every night, “like clockwork,” a blonde woman who looked to be in her early 30s would come over to Elijah’s house at about 7 p.m. and stay until about 10:30 p.m., the source said.

Allman, who claims to be sober, opposes his mother’s placing him under guardianship and has asked that King be given the position instead.
The mother and son were scheduled to appear in court in Los Angeles on June 11, but postponed that hearing to participate in mediation sessions.
King and her famous mother-in-law have long had a chilly relationship with Cher, 77, and say she has been a “destructive presence” in his life, hampering his efforts to stay clean and sober.
The case is expected to return to court on September 13.
The bitter legal battle, which began in December when Cher filed a motion to become a temporary guardian for Allman, has turned particularly acrimonious, with the 48-year-old calling his mother “misguided” and “unfit” to handle a guardianship.
“I have seen her suffer from depression in the past and I do not believe she is capable of making appropriate decisions regarding my estate,” he said in court documents.
“I don’t need a conservatorship. The only person who can save me from my demons is me—and I am.”
Cher says her son’s drug addiction, plus mental and physical health problems, leave him unable to manage the $120,000 a year he receives from a trust fund set up for him by his father, blues singer Greg Allman, who died in 2017.
The singing legend said she feared he would spend his $30,000 quarterly allowance on drugs, putting his life in danger.
King was with her husband during a court hearing in January. An insider close to King said she recently moved into a new apartment, but added that the status of her marriage is unclear as the couple continues to spend time together
Her request was initially denied by Judge Jessica Uzcategui in January, saying the star’s attorneys failed to provide Allman with adequate notice of the lawsuit and refused to share confidential information with him.
Nevertheless, Cher was given the green light to proceed with the lawsuit, despite Allman’s objections and his preference for King to be appointed, should a guardianship be deemed necessary.
“My wife is entitled to the right of way,” Allman said in court documents. “So I understand that Cher is no longer entitled to the right of way.”
King and her famous mother-in-law have long had a chilly relationship with Cher, who says she is a “destructive presence” in Elijah’s life, making it impossible for him to stay clean and sober.
“Their tumultuous relationship is marked by a cycle of drug addiction and mental health issues,” the woman said in court documents.
Cher alleged that King “has not been supportive of Elijah’s recovery and … has actively worked to prevent Elijah from getting clean and sober or receiving the mental health care he so desperately needs.”
She said it would be “unsafe for Elijah and his estate” to give King control of the conservatorship because “it would result in the immediate loss or dissipation of Elijah’s assets for self-destructive purposes.”

The couple also clashed over Cher’s decision to send her son to rehab in Mexico, while King personally traveled to the country to free Allman.
In court documents, he said: ‘My mother and I have had a strained relationship for years. For example, on October 17, 2023, my mother arranged for me to be taken to Mexico for what I was told was “holistic alternative therapy.”
‘When I arrived in Mexico I was told that I was not coming to Mexico for holistic/alternative treatment and therefore I was not allowed to leave.
My wife was the one who hired a lawyer and negotiated my release from the facility in Mexico.
‘While I’d like to believe that my mother wants the best for me, I know from personal experience that she doesn’t manage her own finances.
‘I am therefore very concerned that this court is allowing her to settle my affairs.’
