Cher said Elijah's estranged wife Marieangela King has been a destructive presence in his life and is hindering efforts to get him the help he needs with drug and mental health issues.
King and Cher have publicly sparred in the past, with King claiming that Cher tried to kidnap Elijah last year in an attempt to send him to rehab. Cher has denied the allegations.
The Believe singer says this in lawsuits The explosionthat she was unable to communicate effectively with Elia on the important issue.
Cher “has not been able to discuss Elijah's preferences regarding the appointment of a temporary conservator given Elijah's current mental and physical health issues,” her legal team said.
