Marc Cucurella’s new home was reportedly broken into in a shocking break-in shortly after he joined Chelsea from Brighton.
The Spaniard joined the Blues for £62m in the summer and has struggled with inconsistent form.
Sun have reported that the robbery is said to have occurred shortly after he moved to Stamford Bridge and has been blamed for its manner.
Manager Graham Potter recently admitted that Cucurella had been suffering personally, but offered no further comment.
The fullback did not start in last night’s Champions League loss to Borussia Dortmund and was booed by the fans when he came off the bench in the 71st minute.
