Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to rebuild the Chelsea team as they look for a way back into European football

The exciting young striker is seen as an alternative to Napoli star Victor Osimhen, who is expected to sell for more than £100 million due to links with Man United, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.

New Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino will take office on July 1 as the club appears to be recovering from a dismal season.

Despite spending over £600 million on 18 players during the summer and winter transfer periods, they finished in the bottom half for the first time since the 1995–96 season.

However, they are looking to invest heavily again as the former Tottenham manager looks to rebuild the club.

Chelsea need a number nine, and while Kylian Mbappé could be available after his falling out with PSG, the West London club is unlikely to move for him as his price tag is expected to exceed £150 million while he reportedly also earns £893,000 a week.

Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund is also a target, although he is also being closely watched by United, with Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic another option.

For a club unwilling to raise an already outrageous wage bill, Jackson could be a good addition as Pochettino seeks his way back into European football.
