Chelsea have been ‘GREEDY’ in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a late loan move for Hakim Ziyech, according to reports in France, as the Morocco star tries to push through a deadline move to the French giants.
Hakim Ziyech is ‘trying to persuade Chelsea’ to let him join Paris Saint-Germain, as L’Equipe reports that the West London club have been ‘greedy’ in negotiations.
The former Ajax winger has endured a miserable two-and-a-half-year stint at Stamford Bridge and previously traveled to Paris in a bid to seal a move to the French titans.
The Blues were willing to let the player go on loan, after the club revealed they would be willing to let the player go to non-Premier League opponents before the end of the January transfer window.

The Morocco star is now attempting to push through a loan move to Paris Saint-Germain
According to reports in L’Equipe, the midfielder has ‘made it clear’ that he wants to join PSG this window after ‘completing a medical on Tuesday’.
They also claim that the 29-year-old has “directly intervened” in the exchanges between the two clubs while negotiations with Chelsea continue to take a “greedy” approach.
Despite starring for the Atlas Lions in their remarkable run to the World Cup semi-finals, becoming the first African team to do so, Ziyech has continued to struggle at Chelsea this season after a poor first term.
As such, the Blues were willing to let him go, with PSG offered as a potential destination.
The move would link him to Atlas Lions star Achraf Hakimi.
Ziyech has yet to score in all competitions this season for Chelsea and has only one assist.
At the Parc des Princes, he would meet compatriot Achraf Hakimi, who was equally key in his country’s run to the World Cup quarter-finals.
In addition to the French champions, Serie A giants Roma had also been interested in signing the Moroccan attacker this month, with the Giallorossi looking to climb the Europa League places in Italy’s top flight.
José Mourinho was reportedly interested in bringing the 29-year-old to the Italian capital but must first raise the necessary £25m to do so.
With the club adding the likes of Mykhailo Mudryk, Joao Felix and Noni Madueke this month, Graham Potter will be keen to get rid of a number of players who will lose their place in the team.
He has already averaged less than 45 minutes per game in his 10 appearances for the Blues in the league, and is yet to score in all competitions, assisting just once.
