Chelsea Handler made a big impression when she was a guest on the Australian program The Project on Monday night.
The American comedian entered enthusiastically and immediately made fun of panelist Sam Taunton after his Barbie joke failed to hit the mark.
“It’s going to be a C-section,” Sam joked when the group discussed Margot Robbie’s pregnancy.
His co-stars responded with a confused silence, prompting the comedian to clarify: “In her in the Barbie movie… She didn’t…”
It took a while for his fellow actors to realize that Sam meant that Barbie has no genitals.
“You missed everything!” he exclaimed as the room finally burst into shy laughter.
Chelsea immediately spoke about the failed prank when she appeared on the show.
“Before you start, I want to address your Barbie joke. How can you make a joke like that when you know there’s a comedian on the show?” she joked.

“It was a really bad joke. I felt so sorry for you, you know what I mean?”
“After I made the joke, I thought, ‘Look, put that behind you, Sam, no one will ever talk about it again,’” Sam confessed.
Chelsea was then asked how she gets over a bad joke.
“I don’t know. I’ve never told one,” she said dryly.
“It wasn’t the joke, it was your reactions. They thought it was worse than what you actually meant, and then you were about to get canceled and then you recovered,” she continued.

Sam added: “I’ve never told a joke that everyone agreed wasn’t funny.”
“Yes. Congratulations,” Chelsea replied sarcastically.
She then said the name of her stand-up comedy show was Little Big B***h, ‘because Little B***h was taken by Sam!’
The statement provoked loud laughter from both the cast and the audience.
Chelsea offered a half-hearted apology, but Sam took it all in stride, adding, “It’s just good for a laugh.”
Handler’s Australian tour, dubbed Little Big B***h, kicks off on July 13 at Sydney’s State Theatre.
