Chelsea ‘exploring shock Jadon Sancho deal with Man United’ – with Blues ‘willing to offer players in exchange’ after exiling stars to a ‘bomb squad’

Chelsea are reportedly exploring a deal to sign Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, with the Blues expected to compete with Juventus for his signature.

Sancho travelled to Brighton with Manchester United on Saturday for their second Premier League match of the season, but was left out of the squad as the Red Devils lost 2-1 to the Seagulls.

Questions remain over Sancho’s future at the club despite Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag drawing a ‘line’ under the row that saw him banned and loaned to Borussia Dortmund last season.

Juventus are reportedly considering a loan move for Sancho, which would also involve an obligation to buy the winger for £40m.

Chelsea are now reportedly in the race to sign Sancho, with Sky Sports reporting that the Blues are exploring a possible deal.

According to reports, the Blues are open to offering players in exchange for Enzo Marseca’s bloated squad

Maresca claimed this week that it was ‘impossible’ for players like Raheem Sterling to play minutes

Discussions are said to have taken place over both permanent and loan deals involving Sancho.

Chelsea are reportedly open to a player transfer to Manchester United as part of a deal.

The Blues’ interest comes despite the club being keen to sell players before the transfer deadline.

Head coach Enzo Maresca has dropped several players from the first team, with Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell among the key figures relegated to a ‘bomber’ role.

Maresca claimed earlier this week that it was ‘impossible’ to give them playing time due to the size of Chelsea’s squad.

“They (Sterling and Chilwell) train separately,” Maresca said on Wednesday.

“We have a big squad and it is impossible to give them all the minutes. If they want minutes, it is better if they leave.

‘If they don’t leave, they have a contract here and they are Chelsea players.’
