Chelsea may terminate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s contract at the end of the season, according to reports in Spain.
The 33-year-old striker is out of favor with the Blues and has only played seven minutes in the Premier League since 21 January.
Chelsea are reportedly not impressed with Aubameyang’s trip to support his former club Barcelona in El Clasico against Real Madrid on Sunday.
The Spanish giants won 2-1 thanks to a Franck Kessie goal in injury time and the veteran was photographed celebrating and posing in the Barca dressing room.
and according to Sporteverything now points to Chelsea releasing Aubameyang from his contract a year earlier.

The Spanish outlet is also reporting that although Aubameyang is not in direct contact with Barcelona president Joan Laporta, he has made clear his desire to return to the Catalan side, and could even take a pay cut to force the move.
The Gabonese international moved to Stamford Bridge for £10m from Barcelona on September 2, reuniting with then-boss Thomas Tuchel after a successful seven months at the Camp Nou, in which he scored 13 goals in 24 games in all competitions.
But Tuchel was sacked less than a week later, and while his replacement Graham Potter initially gave Aubameyang plenty of playing time, he has recently been left out of the squad, scoring only three times in all competitions for Chelsea.
The international with 72 caps was dropped from Potter’s Champions League squad and hasn’t even made the substitute bench in his last two Premier League games. With the west London outfit wanting to reduce the wage bill, an early exit could be in the best interests of all parties.
Sport adds that Aubameyang, who brought the club a good profit and performed well in his short stint at Barcelona, is highly regarded by the fans and influential figures at the club, and the feeling is mutual.
