Two goals from Lauren James gave Chelsea a 3-1 win over Aston Villa to increase the pressure on leaders Manchester United at the top of the WSL.

James fired Chelsea up front at Kingsmeadow in the 24th minute before Rachel Daly equalized for the visitors seven minutes before the break.

The Blues came out with all their guns in the second half and James scored her second of the game after some good work from Pernille Harder.
