Chelsea bounced back from defeat on Christmas Eve when they defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.

Mykhailo Mudryk opened the scoring with a neat finish in the first half, before Michael Olise equalized with a composed touch and finished just before half-time.

Then, deep into the second half, substitute Noni Madueke converted a penalty after being fouled by Palace's Eberechi Eze, sealing all three points for the hosts.
