A comfortable victory over Fulham saw Chelsea win the inaugural Premier League Summer Series.
Thiago Silva and Christopher Nkunku got the Maryland goals in the first half and saw the Blues finish top of the table two points clear in what was a winner-takes-all encounter.
It was a rather uneventful start to the game before Silva topped out in the 20th minute and headed in from a corner.
