Chelcee Grimes takes a savage swipe at ex Christine McGuinness and brands her ‘fake’ as she reveals new romance with mystery woman

Chelcee Grimes lashed out at her ex Christine McGuinness on Saturday by calling her ex-flame “fake” while revealing her new relationship.

The 32-year-old singer and the 36-year-old presenter, who have both moved on with their lives, were photographed kissing last year after Christine split from ex-husband Paddy McGuinness, but they later unfollowed each other on social media.

Chelcee shared an update on Saturday announcing that she was dating a mysterious redhead, and shared a number of recent snaps of them together.

“Private, but not a secret,” she captioned the post, hiding her partner’s face.

And when a follower said, “Someone who doesn’t hide it from the press wins,” Chelcee seemed to take a swipe at Christine.

“Ahahahahahahaha honestly I just have to laugh at this. Copies everything I do,” she replied.

MailOnline exclusively revealed this week that Christine enjoying a holiday with ‘tomboy’ musician Roxxxan after they sparked romance rumours with a cosy footsie snap.

Referring to her update, Chelcee’s friend wrote back: ‘Literally appears in The Sun as “new man” but comes back saying she’s single. It’s all very strange, those red trainers weren’t a new man at all.’

Another follower added: ‘Christine is fake as they come, Chelcee deserved so much better. Christine can keep trying to get attention and fake a new romance.’

The singer liked the comment and seemed to agree with it.

Someone else shared their hopes that Chelcee and Christine were back together, which they quickly dashed: “Oh I thought you were great with Christine. Please say it’s her in the wig, she also has one of those bracelets in her video,” they wrote.

In a now-deleted comment, Chelcee responded, “No. I was done with keeping it a secret for two years.”

Chelcee previously had a close friendship with Christine. In December 2022, the two were even photographed kissing.

The kiss came after Christine split from her husband Paddy McGuinness in the summer of 2022, after 11 years of marriage and three children.

However, they have since unfollowed each other on social media, and Chelcee’s recent comments suggest there is a feud.

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Chelcee and Christine for comment.

Meanwhile, Christine made sure temperatures rose in a red swimsuit as she soaked up the sun in Ibiza with musician Roxxxan.

The video montage also showed them enjoying a picnic by the sea as the sun set.

MailOnline has learned that the model is staying in the same hotel as Roxxxan at an undisclosed holiday destination and that they have both shared mirror selfies in the same bathroom.

On Tuesday, Roxxxan posted a photo on her Instagram showing off her tattooed legs, which were also visible in the photo of her feet that Christine shared on Monday.

The couple follows each other on Instagram and documents their vacation on social media.

It is unclear what the current nature of their relationship is.

This comes after Roxxxan previously admitted she is “one hundred percent tomboyish and masculine” when she opened up about HUNGER magazine.

She told the publication: ‘Now I say I’m more masculine. I embrace it more. I used to say I was a tomboy because I was still afraid to embrace my truth and fully embrace myself.

“I realized that I just have more masculine energy, but I’m still she and her. I’m proud to be a woman, but I’m this version of a woman.”
