Chef of Perth restaurant Fyre claims vegan activist Tash Peterson ‘obsessed’ with him

A celebrity chef has claimed vegan activist Tash Peterson is “obsessed” with him and has threatened legal action after she faced a number of charges for twice storming his restaurant in Perth.

Police have charged Peterson with trespassing, remaining near a licensed premises and disorderly conduct in a public place after he collided with the chef for a second time last weekend outside his restaurant in Perth, Fyre.

A bitter feud broke out between the controversial activist and OnlyFans star and Mr Mountain after he banned all vegans from his venue.

Mr Mountain said he has received two restraining orders from a magistrate allowing Peterson to no longer mention the name of the chief, his company or anyone associated with him online, and he also intends to remove her from social remove media.

“You’ll see a cleanup of her Instagram because it’s all about me,” Mr. Mountain said A current situation.

Peterson’s actions will ban her from all licensed locations in Western Australia for the next year, but Mr Mountain doesn’t think the ban is “strict” enough.

“Twelve months is not enough. We actually went for a lifetime ban on all licensed premises across WA – so no restaurants, no bars, nothing,” he said.

“If she’s going to cause such a nuisance, it’s not fair. It’s not fair to small operators, it’s not fair at all to licensed buildings. We must not let this continue.

“She tried to hurt my business so badly and it really hurt.”

Fyre’s ban on vegans, citing “mental health reasons,” was in response to a customer complaint about the restaurant not meeting their dietary needs.

A group of activists, including Ms. Peterson, began protesting outside the restaurant shortly after the announcement.

However, Ms Peterson has denied that the protests are due to the ban.

“I am there on behalf of the non-human animals who are victims of rape, enslavement, torture, abuse and murder. It has nothing to do with him banning vegans,” she said.

During the second demonstration on July 8, chaos broke out inside and outside the restaurant.

While customers dined inside, activists flooded the venue, playing sounds of squealing pigs through a megaphone.

In a video posted to Instagram, Ms. Peterson enters the restaurant screaming that “the sounds you’re hearing right now are pigs screaming for their lives in carbonated mushrooms, they’re burning from the inside out.”

“You are responsible for their murder if you are not a vegan and have their blood on your hands,” she said.

Mrs. Peterson and Mr. Mountain faced each other during the collision.

Following the confrontation, the restaurant shared on Thursday night that Ms Peterson and her boyfriend had now been legally barred from entering the premises.

The message informed the pair that they would be in breach and that the company would “take all appropriate steps to remove and exclude you.”

According to the restaurant’s lawyer, a copy of the violation notice has been given to Joondalup Police Station.

“Hahahahahaha and that’s how it starts,” the restaurant posted on Facebook with a photo of the letter.

A few hours later, Ms Peterson revealed on Instagram that she would continue to protest and filmed a clip showing her throwing the ban papers into a fire pit.

“I will continue to visit licensed restaurants and places that profit from animal cruelty, torture and murder,” she said.

“No one can stop me from exposing the greatest holocaust in human history, in which trillions of non-humans are brutally murdered for human pleasure.”

The restaurant was also inundated with one-star reviews on its Google page.

The backlash initially made Mr. Mountain “scared” for his business, but the attention led to bookings “flowing in.”

“Unfortunately for the vegans, this is the best marketing that has ever happened to me, thank you so much, I love the vegans,” he told Perth Now.

But while the war hasn’t stopped patrons from attending, it has impacted Mr. Mountain’s personal life.

Earlier this week, while swallowing his tears, he revealed on A Current Affair that the dispute had cost him his relationship.

“I lost my partner because of this, I lost a relationship, I thought I was going to marry this woman and she just couldn’t handle the amount of attention — thank you vegans,” he said.

‘She was the perfect partner.

“But it was too much for her, she’s very private and she didn’t want this to come out.”

“If these protests hadn’t happened, this wouldn’t have happened, so I blame them directly (vegans).”

Mountain said his fight against Peterson wasn’t over because he wanted to finish what he started.

“As soon as we get through the legal action from the police, I will also take civil action,” he said.
