NQR (Not Whole Right) has 27 locations across South Australia and Victoria.

Recent specials include Red Rock Deli chips for $2, 1 kg of Yoplait mango yogurt for $3, 1 kg of Bertocci bacon for $12, and more.

The discount chain is perfect for stocking up on cleaning supplies and pantry items like rice, canned lentils, pasta, sauces and instant noodles.

CEO Ewan Jones told FEMAIL: ‘We are the cheapest supermarket in Australia. We pride ourselves on getting the right price for our customers and NQR is the best for snacks and frozen foods. We sell yogurt for $1 and at other supermarkets it costs $7.”

He added: “Our goal is to help the customer who is struggling. You can actually stock up on chips and drinks – it’s cheaper across the board than any other supermarket.

‘If I were a customer, I would shop at NQR first and get my deals before buying fresh fruit, vegetables and meat anywhere else. The amount of money you save really adds up.”

On the shelves you will also find confectionery and frozen products.

Shoppers have praised the discounts on gluten-free and dairy-free items, which tend to be more expensive in other supermarkets due to dietary restrictions.

Many have shared their awe of the supermarket online on Facebook and Reddit.

‘I’ve only just started shopping [at NQR] but I am blown away by the value offered. They simply go where no major supermarket chain, including Aldi, goes.

‘Currently enjoying two buckets of noodles for €1.20 and a bowl of organic yoghurt for €3.50. You can also buy three packs of rice crackers for $1, they retail for $2.20 at Woolworths,” said one.

‘I love NQR, I’m the only sweet tooth in the family so I get all my supplies from there. They often get the bland flavors of Ben and Jerry’s and have them for only $3 a jar,” one man wrote.

‘This is where I buy my bulk staples. There should be more of these stores!’ said a third.

“The most important thing to remember here is that if you see something you want, buy it immediately. They are often short and end of stock and you can’t rely on it being there next week, or ever being available again.
