ChatGPT is offline. Here’s what we know about the outage so far
If you’re finding ChatGPT a little less chatty than usual these days, you’re not alone: the service is experiencing an outage that affects the web version, the mobile app, and the new Mac app.
Reports of the ChatGPT issues first started around 2:30am ET / 7:30am BDT / 4:30pm AEST, and OpenAI has now acknowledged that there is a problem. The companies status page says “ChatGPT is not available for some users” and that “we are currently investigating the issue.”
So what exactly is causing the outage and how long will it be before you can fire questions at the world’s most famous chatbot again? We’ll post all updates as they happen in this regularly updated live blog.
