Chase Chrisley finally address parents Todd and Julie’s prison sentences

Todd and Julie Chrisley’s eldest son, Chase Chrisley, 26, has finally opened up about his parents’ long prison sentences.

Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison and 16 months of probation while Julie was sentenced to seven years in prison and 16 months of probation.

Chase appeared on her 25-year-old sister Savannah Chrisley’s podcast. unlocked this week, where he discussed the sentencing of his parents.

Chase is the last of Todd and Julie’s children to address their parents’ prison sentence, though he didn’t think he owed anyone any kind of statement.

‘I don’t think I owe anyone an explanation. I do not owe an explanation to the public. I don’t need to explain how I feel to anyone except the people I care about and love,” Chase said.

‘Obviously, what we’ve been going through is hell. It’s a terrible, terrible situation. But I have to try to find the good, even in the darkest moments,” he added.

“I feel like everything we’ve been going through has made me appreciate things that I didn’t appreciate as much in the past,” Chase continued.

“It made me really reflect and figure out who I am now as a man and who I want to be in 10 years, and then 10 years from there and 10 years from there,” he added.

Chase insisted that “he’s not going to worry about what other people [in] everyone is thinking and saying’ about him.

He said he has to “make sure I’m okay” for his fiancée Emmy Medders and, “I have to make sure my family is emotionally okay and I’m emotionally in a place where I can be there for my loved ones.” ‘

“That’s why I haven’t really said anything on Instagram or anything like that because I feel like I’ve been doing the work behind the scenes. And that will pay off and I will let my actions speak for what needs to be said,” Chase said.

Lindsie Chrisley, Todd’s 33-year-old daughter with ex-wife Teresa Terry, revealed earlier this week that she thinks the ordeal has brought the family closer.

‘I think in some ways, for sure, it’s brought us closer together. But I wish it had been for other reasons than this,” she said.

He added: “I’ve always had faith in our criminal justice system, but seeing my parents and how this all played out, this case completely destroyed any faith I had in the criminal justice system.”
