Charlotte Dawson has revealed that the sale of her house fell through at the last minute, leaving her in a “nightmare” after paying off two mortgages over four months.
The 30-year-old TV personality picked up the keys to her new ‘dream’ house in Lancashire in October and moved in with her fiancé Matt Sarsfield and their two-year-old son Noah.
However, Charlotte recounted her despair after the sale of her old house fell through at the last minute, after she has already been paying off two mortgages since November.
Charlotte, who is currently pregnant with her second child with Matt, took to Instagram on Tuesday to tell her fans about the nightmare scenario.
She said: ‘I put on before I’m having a bit of a bad day’. I just can’t pretend that I’m happy with my stories. This is our old house. Obviously we had sold it. Everything was happening.

“We had a completion date next week and it didn’t happen, so we’re very, very, very upset and stressed and fed up.”
The daughter of the late Les Dawson continued: ‘We have been paying two mortgages since November, so you can imagine. All this has been going on for months.
‘We sold the house and there were so many people interested in the house that it’s really upsetting.
“We took it off the market thinking this person is buying the house and today apparently his house has collapsed or whatever, it’s just been a nightmare to be honest.”
Charlotte admitted that it was a bit of a shock since the family was supposed to complete the deal next week and had moved most of the things out of the house to their new place.
She added: “Today has been a bit upsetting and obviously we’re a bit deflated because we thought we had sold the house.” Now we are back to square one and we have to sell the house again.
‘It’s an amazing house and I just need to stay so positive. It’s so hard when things like this goodness but what will be is meant to be fingers crossed it sells.
But the star, who is due to give birth in August and suffered a miscarriage last April, assured fans that her unborn baby is healthy and happy.

She said, ‘Sorry for scaring you all. You’ve been asking if the baby is okay. Obviously, the baby is absolutely fine. It’s kicking, it’s buzzing in my belly.
‘Everyone is asking about gestational diabetes. I took the test a couple of weeks ago and everything is clear to me, but I’m going to do another one in a couple of weeks.’
‘I am happy, healthy, under a beautiful roof, a beautiful house and it will sell. Let’s see the bright side of life,” she added.
In October, Charlotte picked up the keys to her new “dream” home with a spacious open kitchen and took a look around the luxurious property.
She documented the heartwarming moment she and Matt opened the front door of their luxurious new home with a sweet video and shared a variety of shots of the interior.
The couple could be seen smiling as they posed for photos outside their “dream” home, which featured steps leading up to the sleek black front door.
The clip took a look at his wide hallway with a white tiled floor, while a staircase could be seen in front and a door to the side.
Charlotte took to her Instagram Stories to share a variety of photos from inside her home, giving a glimpse of her spacious open-plan modern kitchen and dining space.
The kitchen featured polished white countertops and matching cabinets, with a raised space for the oven and a breakfast bar in the middle.
The video then popped up to show the sprawling dining room, which featured a wall of sliding doors that opened onto the back garden.
Charlotte also shared a snapshot of the sprawling home from her garden at night, with the patio steps lit by floodlights and the home’s elegant interior on full display.
Alongside the gallery of snaps, she said: “We are so happy and blessed to be in our dream home, more to come.”

In March, Charlotte confirmed that she was expecting a baby boy, despite admitting that she was expecting a girl.
Upon learning the news that she was pregnant earlier this year, Charlotte shared a sweet montage of clips on Instagram, telling her followers that she had taken “a million pregnancy tests” because she “couldn’t believe it.”
The couple, who have been on and off for several years, tragically miscarried at 10 weeks in April 2022.
