Charlotte Crosby’s father Gary shares the first photo of her baby daughter Alba Jean’s face

Gary, Charlotte Crosby’s father, was the doting grandfather on Sunday when he first babysat her newborn daughter Alba Jean.

Gary shared with fans the first-ever look at Alba Jean’s face, which had previously been kept away from social media.

Geordie Shore star Charlotte, 32, welcomed her first child on October 15.

“Getting the old skills back Pop-Pop #Granddaughter,” was his sweet post caption.

In the adorable photo, Gary poses for a selfie as he cradles the newborn on his chest.

Underneath, Charlotte’s mother Letitia Crosby, who is bravely battling breast cancer, said she was jealous he got to babysit the little baby first.

“I can’t believe you have your first paste up when I… [am] fair, but we knew she was in good hands,” she wrote.

But she soon got hold of the newborn, as Charlotte shared a sweet photo of her mother cradling the little toddler.

“Family is everything,” the post read.

Charlotte welcomed her daughter Alba Jean with beau Jake Ankers on October 15.

She took to Instagram last week to share her first video of the toddler as she settled into life as a new mom.

The reality star, 32, tenderly touches her daughter’s tiny hands and feet, explaining them “details she’ll always remember.”

The Geordie Shore star also lovingly ran her hand over her daughter’s dark hair, making the most of every moment since her arrival last month.

Baby Alba was dressed in striped baby pants and Charlotte chose not to show her face for the camera.

She captioned the sweet clip: ‘I love you Alba Jeanie so much’.

Fans and celebrity friends rushed to the comment section to tell the Crosby family about the latest issue.

Billie Shepherd wrote, ‘So beautiful’ as Marnie Simpson lost her words, leaving behind a series of love heart emojis.

Updating to her Instagram followers on Monday, Charlotte shared an adorable black and white photo of her little one’s hands announcing the toddler’s unique name.

She wrote: ‘Alba Jean Ankers 14.10.22 ❤️

‘Our hearts are so full, my little girl, you showed us a whole new meaning of life. You are perfect in every way!

“Mommy and daddy are so lucky to call you our little girl, you’re loved so much more than you’ll ever know [sic].’

Crosby took to Instagram a week ago to update her fans and apologize for taking a break from social media, explaining that she’s “just so in love” with her new daughter.

She got emotional in the video, describing motherhood as “just an absolute bliss” as she chatted with her 8.2 million followers.

An stunned Charlotte seemed makeup-free as she began: ‘Hello, I’m back and I’m a mom! Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. I just can’t get into it too much because then I’ll literally cry.

“I’m so sorry because I completely forgot that even though I told everyone I had the baby, I got a little quiet on Instagram and I completely forgot Instagram existed because I’ve just been in a world where I’m so in love . ‘

Apologies to her followers for not keeping them updated, the Geordie Shore star continued: “I’m so sorry, I should have come to update you all.

“I checked my messages and I had so many people worried. Everything is fine, it is more than good. it’s just bliss, absolute bliss,” she continued.

The video stopped when Charlotte started to cry, before returning in the next Story to explain, “I had to calm myself down there. But yes, I have so much to inform you all about.’

She welcomed her first child by cesarean section last month, with her father breaking the news first when he tweeted about being a grandfather.

‘So officially Grandpa! Little girl, all is well. Excited for the new chapter in our little family,” wrote her excited father, Gary.

While Charlotte herself then took to Instagram to share snaps from the hospital as she confirmed the happy news.
