Charlotte Crosby gave fans a sneak peek of a heartwarming moment from her Maldives vacation with fiancé Jake Ankers and their daughter Alba on Friday.

The former Geordie Shore star, 33, took to Instagram to share a clip of the trio standing on a deck above the calm azure sea.

Television personality Charlotte was seen in a red bikini as she snuggled up to 32-year-old Jake as he held their 14-month-old daughter in his arms at the £2,000-a-night Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa Hotel.

Businessman Jake was seen lifting baby Alba into the air above him, while Charlotte threw her arms above her head and turned on the spot.

She captioned her post, “The greatest gift we can give you, my Albs, is a life full of adventures.

Former Celebrity Big Brother winner Charlotte announced her plans to fly her family to the Maldives on Christmas Day, saying it would be her first time abroad over the festive period.

She was eager to get away because her last Christmas was tainted by the death of her beloved grandmother just weeks before.

Charlotte told me Mirror: 'We obviously lost my grandma last Christmas. So what makes Christmas 'Christmas' when you have your grandparents there was gone.”

Explaining her plans for the trip, she said, “This is my first time abroad. I have never celebrated a Christmas away and we don't do any presents either. It's about making memories, great memories, on a big family vacation.”

The star continued: 'We're going with my mum, my dad – basically anyone we would get together with on Christmas Day.'

In December, Charlotte came down with pneumonia and was rushed to hospital after feeling ill for six weeks.

Days later, she shared an update on her Instagram Story revealing she was “struggling to heal” from excruciating respiratory infections.

Charlotte posted a mirror selfie and wrote over it: 'It's been a very long 5/6 weeks of on and off coughing/chest infections. And the whole time I was struggling, I did most of the work.

'Traveling across the country, trains, cars and almost planes. A few times I even lost my entire voice at work. I wasn't able to do some of the things I had to do.”

Days later, Charlotte took to Instagram with an update for fans, writing, “UPDATE. I've been on my new antibiotics for 4 days! And I'm starting to feel SO MUCH better!

“HOWEVER… yesterday decided to bring a period from hell. I was doubled over with the worst cramps this morning and Jakes had a very busy few days with work.

It comes after the reality star announced her plans to fly her family to the Maldives on Christmas Day, saying it would be her first time abroad over the festive period.

'So it looks like a big coffee this morning to me! And some strong painkillers! Hopefully, once this period is over, I will be completely healthy again!'

'Four weeks since I've done any exercise and I was doing my very last part of testing our BRAND NEW CHALLENGE on @blitznburn which resumes next week!

'And on Monday we have an EXCITING film day! It had to be rescheduled twice now because I was so sick!

“But I'm so ready to get back to it and show you all what's in store!”
