Charlotte Crosby has finally built bridges with her former Geordie Shore co-star Chantelle Connelly, after the pair became embroiled in an uneasy “feud” in 2016.

The reality star, 32, was devastated when Chantelle, who appeared in one season of the show, grew close to Gary Beadle — at the same time Charlotte was having an ectopic pregnancy with his baby.

But past things aside, the two now-moms found common ground during this week’s episode of Geordie Shore: The Reunion.

Made: Charlotte Crosby finally ended her six-year ‘feud’ with Geordie Shore co-star Chantelle Connelly on new reunion series

The episode, which sees the original members of the show reconciling years after they originally rose to fame together, saw Charlotte and co-stars such as Holly Hagan, Sophie Kaseai, James Tinsdale and Chloe Ferry all vacationing in Portugal.

And to their surprise, Chantelle from Marbella also flew out to join in the fun, a day after everyone arrived, shocking.

As the mother-of-one stepped into the house, Charlotte said to the co-stars, “There’s someone here, I can hear someone.”

Surprise! Chantelle, who is now Marbella-based and mother of one, shocked the house when she entered 24 hours later than the rest of the group

Before telling the camera, “I’m not going to lie. I was secretly hoping Chantelle wouldn’t show up. She went with Gary when I was at my lowest, I just don’t need that awkwardness.”

The pre-recorded scenes then showed the pair greeting each other, with Chantelle asking the then-pregnant Charlotte, “How are your hormones?”

“They’re fine, but I’m just tired,” admitted the In The Style ambassador.

As Chantelle said, “I know the feeling, I was a crazy bitch, psycho when I was pregnant.”

Clumsy: “I’m not going to lie, I was secretly hoping Chantelle wouldn’t show up, she went with Gary when I was on my lowest, I just don’t need the awkwardness,” Charlotte said of Chantelle’s arrival

And later on over the holidays, the couple finally addressed their tension when Chantelle said, “Me and you haven’t really spoken….Gary”

“You didn’t know this, but when you came to him, it was when I was just going through an ectopic pregnancy,” Charlotte explained.

Going on, “It’s not even you that I’m hurt, it’s Gary and I’m glad you’re here because I’d like to start a friendship and maybe feel a lot closer than what we did before.”

“Okay, well, I’m really, really sorry. I’m sorry,” Chantelle admitted.

Horrible ordeal: In 2016, Charlotte was pregnant with her ex-boyfriend Gary’s child, when she began to suffer excruciating pain – leading to the ectopic pregnancy she had previously revealed “nearly killed me” (Gary pictured in 2012 on Geordie Shore)

Congratulations! But six years later, Charlotte welcomed her first daughter via cesarean section with boyfriend Jake Ankers this week – and shared a slew of sweet snaps from the birth on Instagram.

And to say it was hard to talk about, Charlotte said in one piece for the camera, “It’s kind of hard to tell Chantelle what I was going through when she was hanging out with Gary.

“It was a very sad and low and dark time of my life.”

WHAT IS AN ECTOPIC PREGNANCY?

An ectopic pregnancy is when a fertilized egg implants itself outside the uterus, usually in one of the fallopian tubes.

The fallopian tubes are the tubes that connect the ovaries to the uterus. If an egg gets stuck in it, it won’t develop into a baby.

In the UK, about one in 90 pregnancies is ectopic. This is about 11,000 pregnancies per year.

An ectopic pregnancy does not always cause symptoms and can only be detected during a routine pregnancy scan.

Symptoms can be a combination of:

  • a missed period and other signs of pregnancy
  • abdominal pain low down on 1 side
  • vaginal bleeding or a brown watery discharge
  • pain in the tip of your shoulder
  • discomfort when urinating or defecating

Symptoms of a fallopian tube that ruptures or bursts open include:

  • a sharp, sudden and intense pain in your abdomen
  • very dizzy, sick or faint
  • looks very pale

This is very serious and surgery to repair the fallopian tube should be performed as soon as possible.

A fracture can be life-threatening, but luckily they are uncommon and treatable if treated promptly. Fracture deaths are extremely rare in the UK.
