Charlotte Crosby explains she got her lip filler removed because she thought she ‘looked ridiculous’
Charlotte Crosby has revealed that she removed her lip filler due to pregnancy swelling that made her pout “ridiculous”.
The 32-year-old former Geordie Shore star gave birth to baby girl Alba in October last year and, shortly after, decided to dissolve her statement lips for good.

Speaking on Nova Podcast, Charlotte explained: “I didn’t get my lips dissolved because of trolls, because quite frankly I’ve been trolled for so long by them and I didn’t care.”
‘I love my lips, but it got to the point, after the pregnancy they had become very swollen. As in pregnancy you have a lot of water retention.
‘Everything swells up, you know your ankles, your face, your wrists, your fingers, your toes, how everything swells up in pregnancy.

“I saw the Geordie Shore reunion and I was watching it and I thought, ‘I look ridiculous.’ For the first time, I was like “I look ridiculous.”
‘And obviously I’ve had a girl now, you know what I mean? I told myself when I was watching myself on TV, and when I’m in my girl’s face… and I’m going [baby babble]and i’m making all these silly noises, can you even see us over those gigantic lips?
‘Can she even see who I am as a person? Eight years I had been operating on my lips. That’s a lot of filler in her lips. And I thought that everything had to go away.

In late November, the former Geordie Shore star, 32, took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday and admitted she never thought she would “see the day” when she would go for a more natural look after adjusting her lips for the first time. time in 2014.
Charlotte, who welcomed daughter Alba Jean in October, made the revelation just a year after Channel 5 released a documentary about her changing appearance following complaints.
Posting the words in a snap, Charlotte wrote: “I’m just posting it… I’m dissolving my lips.”

The fillers are dissolved with hyaluronide injections to break it down, speeding up the dissolution process that would occur over time.
Charlotte previously hit out after she came under fire for having surgery, Botox and lip fillers in a now-infamous Channel 5 documentary from 2021.
“If I had a pound for every time someone told me my lips were too big, you know what, I’d be fucking money,” she told the Values and Vibrators podcast.
The channel withdrew the documentary from its streaming service after receiving 7,000 complaints to Ofcom.
The show criticized her ‘plastic face’ and ‘duck lips’, which came after years of Charlotte being targeted by trolls because of her appearance.
