The woman's identity has not been released.
However, this is reportedly not the first time the actor has had problems with his neighbor.
Sheen told police that the same woman dumped trash on his doorstep the day before the attack and recently sprayed a “sticky liquid” on his car, TMZ reports.
The two reportedly spoke after the incident and agreed to bury the hatchet before the alleged home invasion.
DailyMail.com has reached out to Sheen's representatives for comment.
Last year, Sheen's living situation seemed to be up in the air, as the star moved into a $16,350-a-month rental in Malibu.
The coastal house is located on a hill and offers beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean.
However, it appears the actor no longer lives there and the property is back up for rent.
