Charlie Sheen's blonde, divorced Buddhist neighbor has pleaded not guilty to assaulting the actor after he was allegedly strangled in his rented Malibu apartment.
Electra Schrock – born Poag – is officially charged with 'crime involving violence likely to cause serious bodily harm.' An initial charge of 'assault with a deadly weapon with violence' was dropped.
A court heard that Sheen is 'quite anxious' after the shocking incident on December 20.
Schrock, 47, was arrested shortly after that same afternoon by Los Angeles County sheriffs at her rented two-bedroom apartment on the third floor in the same complex where the Two and a Half Men star currently resides.
Schrock stood in a closed room for defendants and said only a few words during her nine-minute hearing in Department 100 at the Van Nuys Superior Courthouse on Tuesday.

“I do,” she said.

Schrock's public defender, Randy Kaplan, told the court his client has two prior felony convictions.

He said prosecutors are “basically alleging that the suspect grabbed the neck area and grabbed him by the collar, which seems on the extremely low end of what has been submitted (by prosecutors).”
But prosecutor Nicole Flood told the court Sheen is “quite anxious” after the incident.
She also said that Sheen had some stitches on his body, and that one “came out” during the struggle with Schrock.
Flood also said a previous elder abuse case involving Schrock is currently “pending.” In June this year, she had pleaded no to the charge of 'elder/dependent adult cruelty'.
“The court should be aware that the defendant has a pending diversion case … an elder abuse charge,” Flood said.
'By the way, she was distracted when she committed this offense and assaulted the victim in the present case. We believe that this means that the suspect poses a danger.
“The victim is quite scared.”
