Charlie Sheen is planning on enjoying a ‘calm’ and ‘sane’ Christmas with his twin sons Max and Bob, 14… after his neighbor tried to strangle him

Charlie Sheen opened up about his Christmas plans following a recent altercation with his neighbor.

The 58-year-old actor, who became known for his troubled past, explains People Saturday that he planned to have a “peaceful” and “healthy” holiday with his twin sons Max and Bob.

The artist, whose daughter Sami has amassed a significant following on OnlyFans, also said he was looking forward to spending the day relaxing with his children.

Sheen said, “We're not one of those families planning a ski trip or something tropical. Thirty family members aren't flying in. No, it's quite quiet, quite traditional, very healthy, very comfortable.'

The Two And A Half Men star added: 'I feel sorry for people who experience so much stress during the holidays.'

The artist then spoke highly of his sons, whom he shares with his ex-wife Brooke Mueller, describing them as “really cool, very smart and very funny.”

Sheen also shares daughters Sami, 19, and Lola, 18, with his second wife, Denise Richards, and he welcomed his eldest daughter Cassandra, 39, with his ex-girlfriend, Paula Speert.

The Platoon star then told the media that his boys weren't worried about his fame.

“It doesn't matter, whatever we do that might be important and related to our work, or to a high moment of responsibility, the kids don't care,” he said.

Sheen concluded by expressing excitement about his revived acting career, stating that he was “absolutely ready” to return to his craft.

He recalled, “I had the best work reputation for a long time. I was the first to arrive and the last to leave, if in doubt I would over prepare. I'd just check every damn box. And that went away. So I was really excited to be that guy again.”

The artist's interview was released just a day later TMZ reported that his neighbor had been arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and burglary.

Members of the LASD responded to a call from Sheen's home in Los Angeles on Wednesday, according to media reports.

Officers said the 47-year-old woman entered the actor's home and began assaulting him after knocking on his door.

It was also reported that although she ripped the artist's shirt and tried to strangle him, she eventually returned to her own home, at which point paramedics responded to the call and left without taking him to a hospital.

Sheen is said to have been unsure of the exact cause of the incident, although they had had previous arguments, including an instance where she sprayed a substance on his car.

A source also told the media that the woman had dumped waste on the actor's doorstep just a day before her attack.
