Charles is spotted for first time since it emerged Harry and Meghan ARE invited to Coronation

King Charles attended a church service at Sandringham as it was revealed that Harry and Meghan were invited to his coronation later this year despite the dispute over Frogmore Cottage.

The monarch was seen smiling and in good spirits in a long brown coat with an umbrella around his arm as he made his way to St. Mary Magdalene Church.

Charles was greeted by the Rev. Canon Paul Williams outside the church before Sunday service.

It is the first time he has been seen after a busy week in which he notified the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to vacate Frogmore Cottage, a move that is believed to complicate future UK visits for the California-based couple.

Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan refuse to confirm whether or not they will attend the King’s Coronation in May.

Prince Harry, who along with his wife Meghan has launched a series of extraordinary attacks on the Royal Family in recent months, has confirmed that he received an email from his father about the event.

The coronation, which will be watched by millions of people in the UK and potentially billions around the world, will take place on May 6, the same day as Harry’s son Archie’s fourth birthday.

The news comes days after Charles kicked his son and daughter-in-law out of their British home, Frogmore Cottage, a move believed to complicate future UK visits for the California-based couple.

It was revealed the same night that Harry spoke candidly about his use of illegal drugs during an intimate conversation with “toxic trauma” expert Dr. Gabor Mate in a live stream online.

There has been much debate in recent months as to whether King Charles would invite his youngest son to his coronation.

The relationship between the Sussexes and the rest of the Royal Family has become strained in recent years, with Harry and Meghan publicly criticizing the Firm.

In addition to bashing the institution, Harry revealed intimate and personal conversations involving him and other members of this family in his Spare memoir, which was published earlier this year.

The publication saw explosive details of the contentious relationship between Harry and his older brother William exposed, including the Duke’s account of how they were involved in a physical altercation that left Harry visibly injured.

This was followed by Charles evicting Harry and Meghan from their grace and favor home, Frogmore Cottage, which sits on the grounds of the Windsor estate.

It has been suggested that the King will offer the Sussexes the chance to use Prince Andrew’s Buckingham Palace apartment as an olive branch to tempt them back to the UK to visit.

Despite this, a spokesperson for the Sussexes confirmed that the couple have now been invited to the event.

A Sussex spokesperson told The Times: ‘I can confirm that the Duke recently received email correspondence from Her Majesty’s office regarding the coronation.

“We will not be releasing an immediate decision on whether the Duke and Duchess will attend at this time.”

It comes after Harry admitted last night that marijuana had “really helped him” but that cocaine and alcohol were more “social” during a candid question and answer session.

Trauma expert Dr. Gabor Mate talked about the way people use drugs to deal with problems in their lives before asking Harry about his reasons for using drugs, including cocaine and cannabis.

‘The first one you mentioned, that didn’t do anything for me, it was more of a social thing. It gave me a sense of belonging and probably also made me feel different than I did,” Harry said.

“Marijuana is different, that really helped me a lot.”

The prince said alcohol was also “more of a social thing” and complained about peer pressure around drinking.

He added that using psychedelics was like “cleaning the windshield, removing the filters of life.”

“It took everything away from me and brought me a feeling of relaxation, release, comfort, a lightness that I managed to maintain for a period of time,” she said.

“For me, I started doing it recreationally and then I started to realize how good it was for me. I would say it’s one of the fundamental parts of my life that changed me and helped me deal with past trauma and pain.’

During the live broadcast, he also confirmed that he encouraged his family to undergo therapy so they could “speak their language”, and claimed that he had been diagnosed with PTSD caused by the death of his mother Diana when he was 12 years old.

He added that he does not see himself as a ‘victim’, but that his wife Meghan had ‘saved’ him.

He said: “I was stuck in this world, she was from a different world and she helped me out of it.”

‘My partner is an exceptional human being and I am eternally grateful for the wisdom and space he has been able to give me.’

Harry also criticized the British public for not supporting the troops in Afghanistan, saying: “One of the reasons why certainly so many people in the UK didn’t support our troops was because they assumed that everyone who was serving was for the war. .

‘But no, once you sign up, you do what you’re told to do, so a lot of us didn’t necessarily agree or disagree, but you were doing what you were trained to do, you were doing what you wanted. they were sent to do.

Their candid conversation came the same week it was confirmed that Charles had asked him and Meghan to leave Frogmore Cottage, the royal residence where they had stayed in the UK in the past.

It was revealed last week that Harry and Meghan have been told to leave Frogmore Cottage (pictured), the residence where they have traditionally stayed while in the UK.

A source close to the couple said that while they weren’t blowing feathers about the decision, it would make future visits to the country “incredibly complicated” if they are forced to stay outside the security perimeters of the royal property.

The couple, who moved to California three years ago, are said to be concerned about how the move will affect Archie, three, and one-year-old Lilibet’s relationship with their grandfather.

Last week, journalist Omid Scobie claimed some members of the royal family were “appalled” by the decision to evict Harry and Meghan, with the couple also said to have been “stunned”.

A source reportedly told him: ‘It all feels very final and like cruel punishment. It is like [the family] I want to remove them from the image forever.

But the couple are not as “stunned” to be leaving as previous reports have suggested, believing “if we need to move, we’ll get out ourselves,” a source told The Times.

King Charles has reportedly decided to evict Harry and Meghan from Frogmore Cottage due to repeated attacks on Queen Consort Camilla in the memoirs of their youngest son, Spare.

The decision was apparently a difficult one for the King, particularly as he did not wish to add fuel to the fire of the ongoing feud with Harry.

But it is understood that he reached a point where he believed Harry had “crossed the line” after the claims made in his Netflix series and the prince’s explosive memories.
