Royal minders on red alert over Charles and Camilla’s ‘secret lovechild’ – after he sends them an ominous warning for their trip to Australia

Royal security services are on high alert this weekend to protect King Charles and Queen Camilla from an Australian claiming to be their secret love child.

British-born Simon Charles Dorante-Day, 58, is convinced he is their illegitimate son, who was given up for adoption shortly after birth and taken in by Royal Palace staff.

He has been demanding a DNA test to prove his claim for years but has now been placed on a protection list after a warning he could take matters into his own hands.

When Charles and Camilla’s tour was announced, Mr Dorante-Day hinted at a plan to confront the royal couple after they arrived in Sydney on Friday evening.

“What am I going to do this time?” Mr Dorante-Day said this in May.

“Well, it would be very foolish not to take action if he ends up in the same jurisdiction as me.

“But I think it would be even crazier if I showed my hand prematurely.”

Now close protection experts have confirmed the Australian will be closely watched by royal bodyguards while the King and Queen are in the country.

British-born Simon Charles Dorante-Day, 58, is convinced he is their illegitimate son, who was given up for adoption shortly after birth and taken in by Royal Palace staff.

“There’s probably about 20 names on that watchlist already,” a security expert – who cannot be named for security reasons – told Daily Mail Australia.

“And certainly anyone making public noise will be of great interest.

“Background checks will have already been conducted on the names they have and it is standard to conduct psychological evaluations based on any criminal convictions and social media.”

Mr Dorante-Day was adopted in August 1966 when he was about eight months old in Portsmouth on the south coast of England, when Camilla would have been 18 years old, and Charles 17 years old.

The father-of-nine claims his adopted grandmother, who worked for the Queen, helped arrange the move and his new life as a royal outcast.

He now wants the truth to come to light so he can take William’s place as heir to the British throne and become the new Prince of Wales.

Simon Dorante-Day has hinted at a plan to confront the royal couple after they arrived in Sydney on Friday evening.

But royal minders are believed to have informed police and ASIO to keep him away from Charles and Camilla while he is in Australia.

The royal couple will land in Sydney on Friday evening, where they will spend the weekend before heading to Canberra on Monday, before returning to Sydney before leaving Australia on Wednesday.

The Royal Protection Squad will be tasked with keeping Mr. Dorante-Day far from both of them during the journey.

“The police have the authority to notify anyone they deem necessary,” said the nanny with 30 years of experience in protecting high-profile and high-profile dignitaries.

‘The psychological assignment would have determined whether that was necessary at all.

“They take everything into account, including any grudges the person may have against them, and also watch for irritable behavior.”

Mr Dorante-Day has spoken of his frustration after years of publicly and privately begging the Royals to recognize his place in their family.

He refused to watch the king’s coronation in 2023, saying he had “better things to do.”

He added at the time: “You know the truth – and you stand there and accept the name King, knowing the truth.”

His timeline of events contradicts the official history of the royal couple’s romance, which states that Charles did not meet Camilla until years after Mr. Dorante-Day’s birth.

Mr Dorante-Day believes inconsistencies on his official birth certificate and in his name prove he is of royal blood.

Mr Dorante-Day claimed his research shows Charles and Camilla first became close in 1965, when they met at Winston Churchill’s funeral in January that year.

However, it is widely reported that Charles and Camilla first met at a polo match in Windsor Great Park in 1970.

Camilla is said to have introduced herself with a reference to Edward VII and his mistress, Alice Keppel.

“You know, sir, my great-grandmother was your great-great-grandfather’s mistress – what about that?” she would have told him.

She eventually married Charles in 2005, ten years after her divorce from Andrew Parker Bowles in 1995.

Mr Dorante-Day has 29,000 fans on Facebook following his attempt to prove his royal birthright – but many have scorned his outrageous claim.

“Who else is waiting with bated breath for Mom and Dad to arrive on Friday,” one poster wrote sarcastically in a private Facebook group this week.

“I wonder how much this will cost the taxpayer if he knows where [Dorante-Day is] so they have no chance to disrupt the visit,” another added.
