Charlamagne Tha God says Republicans should ‘clear the field’ of everybody including Donald Trump to make way for Nikki Haley after her presidential debate performance

Radio host Charlamagne Tha God argued that the Republican Party needs to “clear the field” for Nikki Haley — and even “get rid of Trump” — after the second Republican presidential primary debate.

The media personality praised the former UN ambassador on Thursday during the episode of The Breakfast Club, a morning show that he co-hosts with radio star DJ Envy.

The duo welcomed public speaker Tezlyn Figaro as a guest. Figaro manages the show’s Front-Page News segment, a daily roundup of top headlines.

Figaro praised Haley for sticking to policy during the debate, but Charlamagne went further, telling his roughly four million listeners, “GOP we need to get out of the way, get rid of everyone, including Trump, and let Nikki Haley be the Republican nominee.”

Earlier this month, Charlamagne praised Haley when she expressed her staunch support for term limits.

The show’s news curator Tezlyn Figaro also praised Haley for sticking to the policy during Wednesday’s debate

The former UN ambassador turned heads with her fiery performance, taking turns attacking fellow candidates Tim Scott and Vivek Ramaswamy

She called the Senate “the most privileged nursing home in the country” while speaking to Fox News.

“I mean, Mitch McConnell has done some great things, and he deserves credit,” she said a day after the Republican majority leader froze for a second time while speaking to reporters. “But you have to know when to leave.”

Charlamagne insisted Haley was “absolutely right,” claiming, “She doesn’t say anything wrong at all.

“I’ll stop her if she stops telling the truth.” We need term limits. And you know, if you’re going to stay here, you’re definitely going to need mental competency testing, regardless of age.”

He added, “And you have Senator Feinstein, 90 years old, she’s had multiple health setbacks, didn’t know what she was voting on, you know, Nancy Pelosi is 83, Donald Trump is 77, Biden is 80. is like, yes, we need term limits.”

Haley clashed with other candidates during Wednesday’s debate. A particular target of her ire was fellow South Carolina native Tim Scott.

‘Twelve years, Tim? Where have you been?’ she exclaimed when he referred to his record as a senator.

Scott hit back, accusing Haley of spending thousands of dollars on curtains for the U.N. ambassador’s residence in New York City, a claim she sharply refuted.

“You’re scribbling, Tim,” she said.

The polarizing media personality previously praised Haley’s staunch support for term limits

When asked during an episode of the radio show whether he prefers Biden with dementia to Trump, he described them as “two wings on the same bird”

Haley told Senator Scott he was “scrambling” and told Ramaswamy: “Every time I hear you, I feel a little dumber.”

While Trump leads the polls by a huge margin, Haley is in third place, behind Florida Governor Ron DeSantis

Haley also attacked Vivek Ramaswamy when he tried to justify joining TikTok despite concerns about the parent company’s connections to the Chinese government.

She called his responses “annoying” and stated, “Every time I hear you, what you say makes me feel a little dumber.”

The newest national FiveThirtyEight poll shows that Haley has an average of 6.3 percent, making her the second runner-up behind Florida Governor Ron DeSantis at 13.8 percent.

Yet former President Donald Trump is crushing the competition by 54 percent.

On his radio show, Charlamagne shares his opinions on topics ranging from culture to celebrity news. He also doesn’t shy away from calling out politicians on both sides of the aisle.

During one conversation, co-host DJ Envy brought up the possibility of President Joe Biden having dementia.

In response to a question about whether he would choose Biden with dementia over Donald Trump, Charlamagne said it was “two wings on the same bird.”

Earlier this week, he blasted the 46th president for messing up LL Cool J’s name and using a “racist” term to refer to the rap legend at an event held in his honor.
