Charlamagne tha God says Kamala Harris is ‘captivated’ by Biden’s team and why he would NOT be ‘disappointed’ if she is president
Author and talk show host Charlamagne Tha God expressed disappointment in Vice President Kamala Harris and suggested that President Joe Biden was holding her back from doing something inspiring.
Harris’ former ally, who was blasted by the vice president in an interview for his comments about Joe Biden, spoke to Fox News host Brian Kilmeade about how he viewed her and Biden ahead of the 2024 election.
Charlamagne said Harris was “the reason” he supported Biden in 2020 but was disappointed with the results.
“She is often handcuffed by this government,” he said.
Charlamagne was an ally of Harris, Participate in campaign events with her during her failed presidential campaign.

“I know her and I know what she stands for, and I know the things she wants to do that she might not necessarily be able to do because she doesn’t want to outdo the president,” he said.
Charlemagne said he would not be angry if Harris became president.
“She would be no different than any other Democrat,” he said. “What policies, what issues would she be so different from President Obama and President Biden?”
He mocked people who said Americans should be “terrified” about the idea of Harris as president, claiming they only said that because she was a “woman of color.”
Charlamagne was critical of Biden’s speech at Morehouse University for black men.

When asked if he believed Biden’s speech was inspirational, he laughed.
“No, not in any way, especially from someone who has been in politics as long as President Joe Biden,” he said.
He said graduates of the college were right to be dissatisfied with the president’s speech.
“I would ask myself, what have you done? “I don’t want to hear about the problems, I want to hear from you, about the solutions,” he said.
Charlamagne also spoke about Trump’s “hush money” trial in New York City, saying it was “weird” that this was Trump’s first trial, rather than a more serious issue like “election interference.”
“It looks like a show, and it will be bad if it gets thrown out because everyone will automatically say, well, maybe everyone else is bs too.” he said.
Despite polls showing Trump earning as much as 20 percent of support from black Americans, Charlamagne said he thought the polls were “somewhat exaggerated.”
“I do think there will be an increase,” he said.

In a conversation with Fox News host Greg Gutfeld on Tuesday evening, he said he was not a fan of Trump and saw him as a threat to the future of the country.
‘I am one of the people who suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome. “I think he is a threat to democracy,” he said. “I think he led an attempted coup of this country. You know, he said he wanted to suspend the constitution to overturn the election results. At least that’s not a patriotic thing to say.”
Charlamagne was criticized by The View hosts for refusing to endorse Biden for president in 2024. calling both Biden and Trump “trash” candidates.
