Charlamagne Tha God LAUGHS as Jill Biden Claims Husband Has ‘Energy and Strength’ for Second Term in White House — and Wonders If Biden and Kamala Harris Are Still a ‘Winnable Ticket’
Charlamagne Tha God burst into laughter after being asked if he agreed with First Lady Jill Biden — who boldly said her 81-year-old husband has the strength and energy to serve a second presidential term.
The radio host, born Lenard Larry McKelvey, chuckled as he watched Jill Biden stand up for the president — whose ailments over the past year have left voters questioning whether he can stay in the White House for another four years.
The first lady was asked if she was concerned about Joe’s health as he headed into the 2024 election. She gave the firm answer: “He can do it.”
Jill Biden said, “I see Joe every day. I see him outside, you know, traveling around this country. I see his power. I see his energy. I see his passion every day.’

However, the Breakfast Club co-host disagreed with Jill’s steadfast opinion.
He told Fox News digital: “I get it, because you know, we’re stuck with what we have, right? For example, I think the Republican Party needs to distance itself from Donald Trump.
“And I think the Democratic Party needs to distance itself from Joe Biden. But we’re stuck with what we have.
“So I mean, she has to be optimistic. I mean, she has to say those things. What’s she going to say?
“Like, ‘Oh… I don’t think he’s going to make it to four years. You know, I think he’ll drop dead after two hours.’ I mean, what should she say?
‘Personally I don’t see that power. And I don’t think many other Americans see that power at all.”
Charlamagne Tha God continued, “I think the thing that should scare everyone is when you look across the aisle and you see a man who has 91 criminal charges, he’s been impeached twice, he has four charges. ..how do you lose to that man? ?’
He then wondered whether Kamala Harris — along with Biden — is still a viable Democrat pairing for the ticket this year.
He added, “That’s really the conversation: Are Joe Biden and Kamala Harris still a winnable ticket? I think Republicans should be wondering that too. Is Donald Trump still a winnable ticket?’
Jill Biden said of her husband: “I see Joe every day. I see him outside, you know, traveling around this country. I see his power. I see his energy. I see his passion every day’
“I know the polls right now are saying he beat up Joe Biden in the general election. But I do not know. I really do not know. So to answer your question: no. He doesn’t look as powerful as his wife says. At least not for me.’
Charlamagne said he didn’t regret voting for Joe Biden in 2020 because it kept Trump out of the White House, but he does regret supporting them.
It’s a sentiment he has echoed in recent interviews. He has complained that Harris “kind of disappeared” after Democrats entered the White House.
The 45-year-old added that he believes Trump is a “threat to democracy, because anyone who doesn’t believe in the Constitution is absolutely a threat to democracy.”
His comments come just a week after he said President Joe Biden is a “shi**y elected official.”
The Breakfast Club host has been a thorn in the side of the Biden administration, often criticizing the president’s comments and the history of race in American. As well as criticizing the Democrats for not being able to find another candidate.
When Charlamagne guest-hosted the Daily Show in December, he said the “ultimate Christmas gift” would be for President Joe Biden to drop out of the 2024 race and implored him not to make the same mistake as Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
JL Partners surveyed 984 likely voters across the country. The results show that Donald Trump has a four-point lead over Joe Biden. The results have a margin of error of 3.1 points
Biden had the advantage earlier this year, but has seen the momentum shift to his most likely opponent in next year’s general election
“Biden isn’t getting any younger. He won’t become more popular and he won’t get a new running mate. Please, Mr. President, give America the ultimate Christmas gift and step aside,” he said on the Daily Show.
‘I know he thinks he has what it takes, but the polls say otherwise. I want Biden to step in to beat Trump like I want him to step in to defend me in a bar fight. I appreciate you caring, but I’m not happy with our chances.”
This comes as Biden’s approval rating for any president has fallen to an all-time low in the past 15 years, according to a poll released Monday.
The ABC News/Ipsos poll showed Biden with an approval rating of just 33 percent, while 58 percent of respondents said they disapproved of his performance.
That is four points lower than his position in September, the last time the poll was conducted.
It makes him less popular than Donald Trump, his likely opponent in the presidential election, who received 36 percent approval at the lowest point of his term.
And it’s the lowest figure for any president since George W. Bush went into office from 2006 to 2008.
