Charlamagne Tha God called President Joe Biden a “shi**y elected official” in a recent interview after saying he won’t support him in the presidential race but said voting for Donald Trump would mean the end of democracy .
While appearing on CNN NewsNight on Tuesday, host Abby Phillip asked The Breakfast Club host if he regretted supporting Biden.
Charlamagne said he cares what his listeners think and that the president’s failures reflect back on him because he was the one who told them to vote for Biden.
He said: “It’s not that I regret supporting Joe Biden, I put my name and reputation on the line with my listeners. And when my listeners feel like he hasn’t delivered, they come back to me and say, ‘Hey man, you’re the one who told us to vote for Joe Biden. You’re the one who told us to vote for Kamala. Harris”.
“I think President Biden has historically been a… lack of a better word, a shi**y elected official, but you know, Donald Trump is the end of democracy as we know it.”

When Charlamagne guest-hosted the Daily Show in December, he said the “ultimate Christmas gift” would be for President Joe Biden to drop out of the 2024 race and implored him not to make the same mistake as Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
“Biden isn’t getting any younger. He won’t become more popular and he won’t get a new running mate. Please, Mr. President, give America the ultimate Christmas gift and step aside,” he said on the Daily Show.
