Chapter 2 ‘Speedy Chaser’ exploration walk in Zenless Zone Zero

In Chapter 2 “Fast hunter” by Zenless Zone ZeroYou are tasked with capturing a sentient construction robot that has gone missing. Together with the managers of Belobog Heavy Industries, Anton, Ben and Koleda, you must find and take back the corrupted machines, taking out a few bad guys along the way.

As the name suggests, this mission involves quite the chase, as once you get close to the pesky android, it will run away and use its hydraulic impact mechanism to send you through cracks and into enemy territory. During the hunt, you can acquire three sets of Hollow Observational Data, along with some tasty loot.

Below we explain how to collect all three sets of hollow observational data from the “Speedy Chaser” study in Zenless Zone Zeroalong with a complete walkthrough for the level.

‘Speedy Chaser’ Objectives

1. Collect 1 set of hollow observation data
2. Collect 2 sets of hollow observation data
3. Collect 3 sets of hollow observation data

You need to collect three golden spherical icons to collect the datasets. If you have already collected it, the box will turn grey. Each Hollow Observational Data you collect will earn you 10 Polychrome.

Unlike other Proxy puzzles, you don’t have to worry about locked doors or strange mechanicsThere is one optional combat block you can tackle, however, which is the gatekeeping extra rewards.

‘Speedy Chaser’ Walkthrough

When you open the puzzle you will see a large animated character block representing the machine.

1. Go six blocks to the right to activate a new path around the pile driver.
2. Go down three blocks, then three over until you are standing directly underneath the pile driver.
3. Go up two blocks causing the pile driver to shrink to a block size of one and move further to the right.
4. Go up one block for four blocks to the right and two blocks up again until you are at the same spot where the pile driver is located.
5. This will activate a hydraulic impact mechanism, causing a crack to appear and dropping you into another area of ​​blocks that look like this:

1. On the new map you have to move two blocks to the right, where you will encounter an Eject block.
2. After you’ve been catapulted and earned another +500 Dennies, you’ll see another similar setup below.
3. Move down one space to the secondary Eject block and receive another +500 Dennies.

1. Go up one block to an enemy confrontation, where you’ll have to fight off a few waves of Ethereals to progress.
2. Once you defeat the bad guys, move once to the rightand you deserve the Hollow observation data #1.
3. Go four more blocks to the right until you come across a crevice that leads to the next area.

1. After the machine has started up again, Go up one block to heal any wounds in the rest area.
2. Go right once and then go down five times to chase the construction machine.
3. Turn right twice and land on the same block, the hydraulic impact mechanism is used again and you are sent to another floor.

1. Turn right twice and drive over the automatic rails to an open area.
2. Go right two more times and then up twice to the Hollow observation data #2.
3. Go up once to open an Elite Investigator’s Supply Box containing 5000 Dennies and four Official Investigator Logs. You can also find additional Dennies on either side of the data.
4. Go down two blocks and then move three blocks to the right to the crack and to the next area.

(There is a high-level combat block that is completely optional. However, it does unlock some nice loot, including an Elite Investigators Supply Box, 500 Dennies, and a rest area to collect before continuing.)

1. The machine will move right one more time before you can move. Go down once to craft a healing spray or collect Ether Dewdrops.
2. Go up once for move seven blocks to the right and to an open area, the so-called abandoned building complex.

1. Turn right twice to make a Senior Investigators Supply Box appear in the block above.
2. Then take it go up four more blocks for move two blocks to the right.
3. Go down two more blocks to the Hollow Observation Data #3.
4. Collecting the data destroys the stones underneath. Go down two blocks to pick up another Senior Investigators Supply Box.
5. Go down once to reconnect the central row of blocks before continuing four blocks to the right, Land on the location of the construction machine.
6. This starts a cutscene and a subsequent battle with the final boss with the machine, ending the level.
