The 26-year-old Pink Pony Club singer was angrily confronted by a photographer near the step-and-repeat during the world premiere of Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS film at NYA Studios EAST in Los Angeles.

The incident didn’t seem to faze the rising pop phenomenon, who continued to pose effortlessly before taking some stunning photos with Olivia Rodrigo herself.

It comes after Chappell was praised by fans for “defending herself” when she gave an expletive-laden response while posing for photos ahead of the VMA ceremony in September.

In footage of the incident, a photographer was heard yelling, “Shut up,” Chappell turned and shouted back, “YOU shut up!”

She added, “No! Not me, b****!’ prompting whoops from some observers on the scene. “Tell him, girl,” said a woman watching the encounter.

The exchange began when a male photographer off-camera apparently shouted for someone to “turn around.”

Chappell looked away from the cameras at the time as she was getting her extravagant red carpet outfit adjusted.

The star has previously spoken out about her annoyance at ‘weird’ fans who made her ‘uncomfortable’ with their pushy behavior – prompting a backlash from social media users who felt she was ungrateful for her stardom.
