A man who allegedly ran over a hotel worker after setting off a fire alarm has been arrested.
New South Wales Police were called to the hotel on Elizabeth St, in Sydney's CBD, shortly before 8am on Friday.
“Police have learned that a 35-year-old man, who was a guest at the hotel, allegedly smashed the hotel window and set off the fire alarm in his room, flooding his floor,” police said in a statement.
“Hotel staff went to check on the man before they were hit by the man.”
Police from the Sydney City Police Area Command arrested the man at the scene.
He was taken to St Vincent's Hospital for examination.
