Wrexham has grown enormously since he and fellow actor Rob McElhenney completed their takeover in 2021.

The club competes in the EFL League One, the third tier of the English football league system.

Reynolds and actor Rob bought Wrexham AFC in November 2020 through their RR McReynolds Company LLC.

The duo’s company would receive the support of 98.6 per cent of the 2,000 Wrexham Supporters Trust members who voted, completing the deal in February 2021.

At Saturday’s match, Ryan was present as Wrexham drew 2-2 with Cambridge United at The Racecourse in League One.

It comes after Reynolds delighted punters by buying a round for everyone at another local pub on Friday night – with Channing also in attendance

The actor joked: “I’ll buy a round for everyone here, which might bring in another hundred people at this point, but that’s fine.”

Earlier this month Ryan won his planning battle with locals in Wrexham over plans for a ‘brazen’ multi-million pound development
