Channing Tatum has ‘no words’ to express his grief after the death of Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss

Channing Tatum shares your grief over the sudden and tragic death of Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss at the age of 40.

The actor, who was a friend and colleague of tWitch, took to his Instagram page and shared a heartbreaking tribute, along with a flashback snapshot of the shirtless couple on what appeared to be the set of Magic Mike XXL (2015).

Boss (born Stephen Laurel Boss) played the role of Malik, the rival of Tatum’s main character Michael ‘Magic Mike’ Lane, in the comedy-drama film that became a box office hit.

‘I have no words. There are none,’ Tatum, 42, began in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

Still struggling to find the right words to share, the fellow Alabama native continued: ‘My head or my heart can’t figure this out. There are so many things… I don’t know where to start. Love you. I will see you again my friend. Until then.’

The popular DJ and guest host on The Ellen DeGeneres Show died Tuesday of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head inside a Los Angeles motel room.

Co-stars: Tatum took to his Instagram page and shared a snapshot of him and Boss shirtless, in what appeared to be the locker room they wore for Magic Mike XXL (2015).

Boss also starred in three films in the Step Up franchise: Step Up 3D (2010), Step Up Revolution (2012), and Step Up: All In (2014), which starred Tatum and his ex-wife Jenna Dewan in the 2006 original.

As a direct sequel to Step Up 2: The Streets (2008), the dancer and television personality played the role of Jason Hardlerson in the last three sequels.

“I was truly speechless today… Twitch was the kindest, warmest, sweetest soul I’ve ever met in this business,” Dewan shared in her tribute on Instagram, adding, “He cheered everyone around him up.” He made it a point to check up on me and my family, because that’s who he was: a truly good soul who cared deeply for others. He was a source of inspiration not only for the dance community but for the world in general.

She ended by writing: ‘He was loved by literally everyone. My heart goes out to you Allison and your beautiful family. Rest in peace Twitch.

Boss’s wife, Allison Holker, confirmed his death in a December 14 statement to Peoplewhich began with the dancer and actress sharing: “It is with the deepest of hearts that I have to share that my husband Stephen has left us.”

The heartbroken Minnesota native ended her statement by offering a loving message to her husband: “Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you.”

DeGeneres, 64, also shared her grief over the loss of her friend and former colleague on Instagram and Twitter.

“I’m heartbroken,” she tweeted Wednesday alongside a photo of herself sharing a big hug with the dancer and DJ. ‘tWitch was pure love and light. He was my family and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss it. Send her love and support to Allison and her beautiful children: Weslie, Maddox and Zaia.’
