Channel Ten invites punters to join live studio audience for new season of The Project by offering ‘free lollipops’
Channel Ten is trying to attract studio audience members for the new season of The Project in 2023.
The network posted a call for punters to attend the upcoming tapings on both Instagram and the Ten Play website over the weekend.
Among the incentives for potential audience attendees was the offer of free candy.

The ten game announcement advises that those who go can, ‘Eat free candy. If you like’.
Plus, it promises lots of laughs, “including some exclusive, non-broadcast, commercial-break-only comedies from the Project team.”
Another incentive is to see, ‘what happens in commercial breaks, including some comedy we could never air.’

Tickets are free, and those wishing to join the studio audience can apply via the Ten Play site for the shows taped in Sydney and Melbourne.
New stars Sam Taunton and Michael Hing will join the show in 2023, along with Sarah Harris and existing panelists Waleed Aly and Hamish Macdonald.
Georgie Tunny, who has already been a regular on the current affairs show, will also appear in the new season.
The Project has been rocked by several high-profile departures in recent months. Lisa Wilkinson (pictured) announced last year that she would be stepping down, effective immediately.

The comedian is no longer an ‘official’ cast member, but will appear on the show sporadically, according to tv black box.
