Better Homes and Gardens star Joh Griggs shares her horror at the meal her husband asked for before State of Origin: ‘Try not to gag’
The things we do out of love.
Better Homes and Gardens star Johanna Griggs, 49, has shared her disgust when she was asked to make cheese-topped hot dogs for husband Todd Huggins at Wednesday night’s State of Origin game.
The Channel Seven personality asked her Instagram fans not to “gag” at the sight of her husband’s meal.
“Try not to gag… I asked Todd what he wanted to eat for State of Origin tonight. I said I would make absolutely anything for him… and this is what he asked for,” she wrote.
The professional swimmer turned TV presenter shared a photo of the homemade hot dogs in tomato sauce and cheese buns.

Joh assured fans that she definitely wouldn’t take a bite of the pre-game meal.
“And no — I don’t eat the same thing,” she added.
Joh and her husband Todd met in 2005 and were married the following year in a private ceremony at their home on Collaroy Plateau, on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
She was famously married to Gary Sweet from 1995 to 1999.

Todd works as a construction foreman while Joh is the presenter of Better Homes and Gardens on Channel Seven.
While Joh is notoriously private when it comes to her love life, she recently spoke out about Todd’s health issues.
In November, she shared how a “simple surgery” to remove a BCC skin cancer turned into a nightmare after the wound got infected.
“It’s been quite a start to the week for Toddy. A hospital stay and another surgery were in order,” she told her Instagram followers.

Fortunately, Todd’s surgery was successful and he appears to be fully recovered.
Joh also opened up about her relationship with Todd in a 2016 interview.
“He’s the bomb… he’s my best friend without a doubt. He’s just amazing,” she told The West Australian.
