EXCLUSIVE: Channel 10 staff member reveals the extreme measures new Project presenter Sarah Harris went to to avoid interacting with a live studio audience while hosting Studio 10, as her shocking on-set antics are revealed.

Sarah Harris earned a legion of fans during her nine-year tenure as the host of Studio 10 thanks to her cheerful disposition and affable nature.

However, a Channel 10 staffer has revealed the lengths to which the new Project presenter went to avoid “interacting with a live studio audience” while on the show.

According to the source, Sarah, 41, routinely requested producers to “pretend to talk to her” between commercial breaks so she wouldn’t have to talk to audience members, something she “didn’t feel comfortable with.”

A Channel 10 staff member has revealed the extreme measures new Project presenter Sarah Harris took to avoid interacting with a live studio audience while presenting Studio 10.

“There were days where she would also pretend to be on the phone as soon as filming was over so people wouldn’t come up to her to take pictures,” the source added.

Sarah previously admitted to being an anxious person, saying that the way she deals with stress is to run or do other forms of exercise.

Elsewhere, the source claimed that Sarah had a very meticulous way of preparing for her television appearances each morning.

Before each shoot, she would ask her makeup artist to check her makeup, and then ask them to check it again.

“Sarah must have checked her makeup at least five times before going on the air,” the source claimed.

I also expected the same attention to detail from the producers.

However, another Channel 10 staffer dismissed the claims as ‘unsubstantiated’, telling Daily Mail Australia that Harris has always been sweet and charming during her meetings.

“Sarah is well loved and respected at 10 years old,” they said. “This is really unfounded and disgusting approaching her debut on The Project.”

She is reputed to be warm and friendly.
