Channel 10 presenter stuns by accidentally revealing colleague’s secret pregnancy on live radio: ‘Holy hell what have you done?’
A Channel 10 presenter has stunned listeners after accidentally revealing his colleague is pregnant live on radio.
During a segment on Adelaide’s Mix 102.3, sports presenter Max Burford discussed spoiling surprises with co-host Ali Clarke.
Burford talked about the time he recently heard about the pregnancy news from TV reporter Taylee Jones while having a drink at work at Channel 10.
“It was a Friday and on a Friday we’re drinking, one of our other reporters, the lovely Taylee, says, ‘Oh should I have the Pepsi Max, should I have the Coke Zero?’ before suggesting she have an alcoholic seltzer instead.
Taylee quickly turned down the offer, prompting Burford to reveal that he joked she was pregnant, which his colleague discreetly confirmed.

However, co-host Ali was quick to point out that Max actually ruined the surprise in a much more public forum than just a work drink.
A shocked Clarke interrupted the story and commented: “Wait a minute, now you’re saying it on the radio.”
Burford assured colleagues the information was common knowledge before it was quickly contradicted, with Clarke saying the news had not been announced on social media.

“Stop shaking your head at me… it’s public knowledge, she sent an email to our entire company,” Burford claimed.
A producer on the show and a friend of Taylee’s said he was not informed of the news.
“I’m one of her good friends and she didn’t tell me,” the producer said.
“Holy Max, what have you done?” Clarke exclaimed.

Burford awkwardly laughed off the situation before quickly closing the segment.
Taylee has not commented on the blunder, but announced the exciting news on her Instagram page on March 31.
‘Sandwiches and chocolate milk have been forced to share the belly this year (which was not a problem). Mini Paley coming in August,” she captioned the post.
