The 46-year-old celebrity chef was found dead in a Melbourne hotel room on May 1.
Before his death, Zonfrillo had built up a secret collection of one-on-one interviews with some of the country’s leading chefs prior to his shock death.
Daily Mail Australia can reveal that the MasterChef jury regularly invited chefs into its Channel Ten trailer after filming sessions of the hit show to record private chats.

Subjects, according to celebrity chef Luke Nguyen who sat down with Zonfrillo, often moved away from the kitchen and focused on more personal topics, such as family life, plans for the future and passions outside of the intense hospitality industry.
Meanwhile, MasterChef’s final season got off to a strong start in the ratings.
The show debuted on May 7, drawing an impressive 761,000 viewers and easily beating network rivals, Farmer Wants a Wife on Seven and Nine’s Lego Masters.
The show’s debut in the 7:30pm primetime slot came after a moving hour-long tribute to Zonfrillo on Channel Ten’s The Sunday Project.
