Channel 10 will air the full episode at 1 a.m. Thursday morning, but the network has already released it online on 10Play.

It comes after the network’s revamped dating show The Bachelors premiered Monday night to disappointing ratings.

The season ten premiere had a five-city metropolitan audience of 309,000 viewers, with 405,000 viewers nationwide.

Channel 10’s broadcast partner Paramount+ claimed the national ratings were even higher than that, tweeting that 439,000 had tuned in across the country.

“Number one entertainment program in under 50, 25 to 54 and 16 to 39. Number one in its time slot in under 50, 25 to 54 and 16 to 39,” he tweeted.

However, TV Tonight revealed that Ten will schedule the interview for the 1 a.m. slot on Thursday morning after a marathon of reruns of Bull rather than capitalize on viewer interest and screen it earlier.

‘37% commercial participation in 16 to 39 years, 30.2% in 18 to 49 years, 29.3% in those under 50 years and 27% in 25 to 54 years.’

The Bachelors was also a hit on social media with #thebachelorsau becoming the most trending hashtag in Australia.

Earlier in the week, a leading betting website invited punters to place bets on how poorly the premiere would perform in the ratings.

Sportsbet opened a market for the show’s season launch, and the odds suggest it will go under without a trace.

The category “more than 350,000 metropolitan viewers” had a probability of $2, but the option “less than 350,000 metropolitan viewers” had a lower probability of $1.72.

For the first time in the franchise, the tenth season introduces three suitors, Felix Von Hofe, Jed McIntosh and Thomas Malucelli, in search of love.
