Zavala is a rookie offensive lineman in the league – he was just selected by Carolina in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

He played college football at Division II school Fairmont State University in West Virginia.

When Fairmont State decided to cancel its football season in 2020 due to Covid, he transferred to North Carolina State.

There, he earned first-team All-ACC honors for the Wolfpack.
