Copenhagen were the surprise winners of their group after beating a beleaguered Manchester United team at home and holding Bayern Munich to a 0-0 draw at the Allianz.
But they face an immediate challenge against Pep Guardiola's Treble winners, who cruised through their group tests with ease and recorded a record six wins from six.
Copenhagen's best ever record in the competition came in 2010–11, when the Danish side reached the round of 16.
Arsenal will face the winners of the 2003-04 competition, who defeated Shakhtar Donetsk and Royal Antwerp on their way to qualification, in their first knockout match.
However, two defeats against Barcelona meant Sergio Conceicao's side did not top their group.
