A house party gone wrong, attended by around 400 people, has ended with stones being thrown at emergency services and several partygoers (one as young as 12 years old) being rushed to hospital.

Hundreds of teenagers marked the end of the school year with celebrations before police were called to a house on Sungold Road in Chambers Flat, about 40 kilometers southwest of Brisbane, about 11pm on Friday.

The party took an ugly turn when emergency services responded to reports that several teenagers were heavily intoxicated after consuming alcohol.

Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics treated six children aged between 12 and 18 at the scene, five of whom were girls.

Stones were reportedly thrown at emergency responders and first responders as they arrived on the scene to treat several minors attending the party.

Six ambulances were on the scene Friday evening in response to the commotion and had to take cover until police arrived at the private home where the party was being held.

It is believed that one girl suffered an eye injury, but it is not clear how she suffered the injury.

Six teenagers were taken to Logan Hospital to be treated for various injuries, including injuries resulting from the significant consumption of drugs and alcohol.

All injured people are believed to be in a stable condition.

The police are probably investigating a suspected sexual abuse.
