Chad Michael Murray became a father of three last week when his wife Sarah Roemer gave birth to a baby girl.
Sarah, who Chad has been married to since 2015, ecstatically broke the news on her Instagram page this weekend.
Her announcement was accompanied by a heartbreaking photo showing the heart-shaped birthmark of their bouncing new baby.
Our little girl arrived last week with a heart on her ankle. We’re so in love!’ she gushed. “Soaking up all the baby soft moments that pass all too quickly.”
Meanwhile, 41-year-old Chad posted the same photo to his own Insta Stories with the short but sweet message: “Heart full #family.”

Chad and Sarah first met when they starred together in the thriller series Chosen, which began in 2013 on the streamer Crackle.
They secretly tied the knot in September 2014 and waited until January to simultaneously announce the wedding and Sarah’s pregnancy with their first child.
The couple welcomed a son in 2015 and a daughter in 2017, and have been so fiercely protective of their children’s privacy that they are not disclosing their names.
Sarah and Chad only made her latest pregnancy public last month, and soon after he subtly revealed they were expecting a little girl.
“We travel this world like a little pack of wolves — this baby has been everywhere and she’s not even on the outside yet,” he wrote in an Instagram caption, allowing readers to pick up the feminine pronoun for themselves.
Before his relationship with Sarah, Chad was briefly married to Sophia Bush, with whom he rose to fame in the teen drama One Tree Hill.
Sophia and Chad made their way down the aisle in April 2005, but had separated by September, eventually finalizing the divorce the following year.
A few years ago, when he had only one child, Chad reflected touchingly on how becoming a father had changed his outlook.

“Having a family just changes your outlook on everything. I mean, it’s a world changer,” he said in an interview with Entertainment tonight. “For me it was the best thing that ever happened to me.”
He added, “Having kids is a game changer and I think you always walk around with the mindset that you want to make sure they’re proud and you want to represent them well and just be a great leader.”
Chad noted that his decisions about acting jobs were colored by the fact that his child would eventually be able to watch him work.
“A project came up last week, and just because of the content, it wasn’t something I (want) my son to see when he grows up,” he said. “It’s not the kind of material and I didn’t feel the reward was worth it.”
