A man died this afternoon after falling on the track at Sydney Central station.
The man, believed to be in his thirties, was rushed to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital but sadly passed away.
Police said the man was believed to be on a scooter or wheelchair when he fell from platform 18 at around 2:30pm on Wednesday.

It is clear that no train was on the platform or nearby when it fell.
Train passengers in Sydney are warned to expect delays on the T1, T2, T3, T8 and T9 services.
A report is being prepared for the coroner.
